Apple iPhone 12, which was expected to launch in September, will be delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but not much, according to some leaked sources.
Tech Analyst and Front Page Tech CEO, Jon Prosser has said, “We’re going to be getting it [iPhone 12] in October… [but] instead of having announcements in September and then it comes out in October, it looks like they’ll shoot for all of it happening in October,” reported Forbes.
“iPhone 12 panel production will start around 6 weeks late, so rather than early June, it won’t start till the end of July which should imply a delay in the iPhone 12 launch from September to October,” Samsung insider, Ross Young told Forbes.
Jon Prosser had earlier also revealed some features of the upcoming model in a tweet.
He said, talking about news given by his sources, that four variants will be launched which have 5G modem. The iPhone 12 series will have an OLED screen and the sizes will vary from 5.4 inches to 6.7 inches.
The 5.4 inches iPhone 12, codenamed D52G, will have 2 cameras, and the speculated price will be $649 (roughly Rs 49,000). While the 6.1 inches iPhone 12, D53G, will have 2 cameras and will be priced at $749 (Rs 56,700).
The 6.1 iPhone 12 Pro, D53P will be apparently priced at $999 (roughly Rs. 75,694), with three cameras and LiDAR while the iPhone 12 Pro Max, D54P, will have the same camera configuration and will be priced at $1,099 (roughly Rs. 83,200).
