He cited the history of lack of transparency and obstruction in the FBI and DoJ's investigations. According to reports from Washington Post, the federal agents who searched Trump's residence were looking for classified documents containing information about America's nuclear programme. It is unclear if the documents were found. Various US lawmakers have since spoken out in support of the former President, calling the raid unprecedented and unfair. Some even directly linked the search to the Democratic party.
