TV host Kelly Ripa will pen her first book in 2022. Described as a collection of personal essays on childhood, motherhood, marriage, and her career, the book is titled "Live Wire".

Ripa, 50, has promised that her book will be a comedic page-turner. According to the "Live with Kelly and Ryan" co-host, it is going to be a deeply honest take on her real-life experiences and will give her fans more insight into her personal life than ever before.

"As a professional, as a wife, as a daughter, and as a mother, she brings hard-earned wisdom and an eye for the absurdity of life to every minute of every day. It is her relatability in all of these roles that has earned her fans worldwide and millions of followers on social media," Fox News reported quoting the book description.

Ripa has been in the public eye as a TV show host and on social media for more than two decades., She had said in an interview with the Parade in October 2020 that she is looking to do much more work behind the camera than in front of it in the future and this book could be her end-game strategy to do just that.

"So my goal ultimately would be to eventually get off camera and start working behind the camera more in that creative aspect because I really do enjoy the writing process so much," she had said at the time.
