The fight broke out between the two groups, in the district's Baraut town, over an issue of getting customers to their respective stalls, police said. 12 people sustained injuries in the incident, with eight people arrested, the Baghpat Police said.
Footage of the fight, which lasted for nearly 20 minutes, found its way to social media and has since gone viral, with an orange-haired man particularly catching people's attention.

Here are some hilarious responses to the incident:
Speaking with ANI, the orange-haired man, identified as Harinder, said the fight broke out because of a new stall that opened in the vicinity around two months ago. He alleged that the new vendor would "steal" his customers by telling them his chaat was stale.
Meanwhile, ASP Sarvesh Mishra, Hapur, said there was no confirmed incident of firearms being discharged during the fight, ANI reported.
