Randy Gonzalez, the father in the popular TikTok duo Enkyboys, died following a battle with colon cancer, a source close to the family told TMZ. He was 35.

As per the entertainment website’s source, Gonzalez died Wednesday morning in the hospital. He and his son Brice were popular as Enkyboys on TikTok.

In April, Randy told his fans that he was diagnosed with cancer and was given 2-3 years to live.

Who was Randy Gonzalez?
Gonzalez and his son Brice used their social media platform to spread awareness about colon cancer. They continued to gain serious popularity from their radiant father-and-son dynamic. He had just landed a role on NBC’s Lopez vs Lopez. He broke the news about his cancer back in April, telling fans he was diagnosed about 6 months prior and given 2-3 years to live. He said chemotherapy could extend things a possible 5 more years.

“I got an announcement to make, and it’s not good,” Gonzalez said at the start of the video.
“Six months ago, I don’t even know how to say this, but six months ago I got diagnosed with stage four cancer, colon cancer. I kept it to myself, and I felt like it was selfish, because I didn’t want to tell everybody about my business because it was personal. But I feel like I can use my situation to give awareness for young men like myself,” he said.

The viral star started a GoFundMe to help pay for his treatment after he claimed he was denied at a cancer center at the University of Texas – stating they didn’t take his insurance.

In November, Randy gave his followers another update regarding everything he’d gone through in only a few months. Hoping to be a great example in a year, “when I beat it,” he said.

The father and son duo have more than 15 million followers on TikTok. They were often seen doing voiceover videos and lip-syncing to songs, movie clips, and more.
