The 153rd Belmont Stakes will be hosted by Belmont Park in Elmont, New York on June 5 local time. The 1.5-mile race is the final leg of the Triple Crown. Post time for the $1.5 million race is 6:49 PM ET.

Authorities have announced that a limited crowd of 11,000 will be allowed to attend the race. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test was made mandatory for entry.
Kentucky Derby winner Medina Spirit will not participate at Belmont after a failed post-Derby drug test. Trainer Bob Baffert has also been suspended for two years by Churchill Downs. Baffert is also barred from running horses at any New York tracks until further notice.
Two-year champion Essential Quality is the 2-1 morning-line favorite while Preakness Stakes winner Rombauer is the second favorite Belmont Stakes 2021 field.
