In the wake of the crash, a total of twenty-three people inside the restaurant were reported injured, their conditions ranging from minor to serious. Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene and transported all the victims to local hospitals. The injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening, providing some relief amid the chaos. Remarkably, the driver of the vehicle emerged from the incident unscathed, authorities confirmed.

Sylvia Flores, the daughter of two patrons who were present during the crash, recounted her parents’ terrifying experience to ABC News.

Her father described hearing a thunderous bang before witnessing the vehicle’s hood within the restaurant. Debris was scattered everywhere. Both her parents, in their late 70s, sustained injuries and were transported to separate hospitals. Her mother potentially suffered a broken leg when a beam fell on her.

Another witness, Laura Galvin, shared the harrowing experience of her in-laws, who were enjoying breakfast in a booth when the crash occurred. The force of the impact pushed them into the kitchen. Her brother-in-law bore the brunt of the collision, injuring his back, while her sister-in-law sustained lacerations, and her mother-in-law had hematomas on her arms and legs.
