The tragic school shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville on Monday, March 27, 2023, has left the community in mourning. The shooting, carried out by former student Audrey Hale, resulted in the deaths of three students and three staff members. 

In the wake of this devastating event, many people have come together to support the victims’ families and the community as a whole. Celebrities who call Nashville home have also stepped up to offer their support, with some making generous donations to the families of the victims. 

As of March 29th, GoFundMe has created a page to gather verified fundraisers aimed at providing aid to those affected by the tragedy. The crowdfunding platform has currently curated a list of four fundraisers seeking donations.

Here are four celebrities who have donated to the Nashville school shooting victims, showcasing their commitment to helping their community in a time of need.

Jay Cutler

Among the donors is former NFL star Jay Cutler, who donated $2,000 to the family of 9-year-old victim William Kinney, who was one of the three children murdered by 28-year-old Audrey Hale. The Kinney family’s fundraiser has already surpassed its $50,000 goal, thanks in part to Cutler’s donation.

Kaitlyn Bristowe

Former ‘Bachelorette’ star Kaitlyn Bristowe also made a donation of $1,000 to a campaign that benefits all six families as well as those who were wounded.

Jena Sims

Actress Jena Sims, the wife of star golfer Brooks Koepka, contributed $1,000 to the fund as well. 

John Carter Cash

John Carter Cash, son of singer Johnny Cash, also made a donation of $2,000 to help support the victims’ families. 

Several other unnamed celebrities also donated to the collective fundraiser for all six victims’ families. These celebrities’ donations serve as a testament to the generosity of the Nashville community in the face of tragedy.
