Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation trial continues to be a court drama that no one seems to get enough of, especially with all the pieces of scathing evidence that unfold in the saga of Hollywood’s most doomed couple.

On May 16, the duo locked horns again at Virginia’s Fairfax County court, this time, unwrapping details of their aggressive honeymoon, awkward Met Gala 2016 red carpet appearance, and their messy divorce.

As the case goes on, here are 5 pieces of evidence so far that have failed to turn out in Heard’s favour.

1.  ‘Fecal matter’

Taking the top spot, the story of Heard laying out a goodbye “surprise” in bed for Depp before she left for Coachella continues to be the trial’s most disturbing revelation. After allegedly being punched during an argument, the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor left Heard alone to cool off, only to receive a warning the next day to not return to the house because of a stinky surprise sitting on the bed. An image of the scene was shown in court during the trial.

2. Heard admits to resorting to violence

“I was hitting you, I was not punching you,” the ‘Aquaman’ star yelled at Depp during a quarrel, according to an audio clip played out in court.

“I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was, but you’re fine. I did not hurt you. I did not punch you. I was hitting you.”

“Grow the f*** up, Johnny. I did start a physical fight,” Heard said in the recording.

3. Mocking Depp

Another audio clip from 2016 consists of Depp on a phone as Heard taunts him about telling the world that he is a victim of domestic violence.

“Tell the world, Johnny. Tell them Johnny Depp, I, Johnny Depp, a man, I’m a victim too of domestic violence,” Heard said in the clip. Taking the stand, Depp replied- “yes, I am.”

4. Scratches on Depp’s face

Describing the images of his face that were being displayed in court, Depp said that in 2015, “Ms. Heard came at me with her nails,” in yet “another confrontation”. The 58-year-old revealed that the pictures were clicked “10 days before Christmas” that year.

5. Making up lies

Soon after Heard’s attorneys claimed that the actor used Milani Cosmetics’ Conceal + Perfect All-in-One Correcting Kit palette to conceal her bruises throughout her marriage, the makeup brand uploaded a video on TikTok that revealed that while the “alleged abuse was around 2014-2016”, the product only came into being in December 2017.
