Feel awkward, putting it mildly.

Lydia Bird, a TikTok user, uploaded a video of her ex walking ahead of her in an airport two weeks ago, along with the on-screen text: “POV you and your ex bought a non-refundable, international spring break trip.”

Because the trip they had booked was non-refundable, a woman went on vacation with her ex-boyfriend.

Lydia Bird documented her and her ex’s trip to the Dominican Republic a month after their breakup in a series of videos.

Lydia and her ex-boyfriend Jaeden had been dating for two years when they planned their vacation.

“As I later discovered, we did not purchase any travel insurance because we had [not anticipated] breaking up,” Lydia told Daily Dot.

As a result, they were unable to obtain a refund.

To make matters worse, the hotel was unable to change their double room reservation to a twin.

Here’s how the internet reacted:

“Why do I have the impression they’re still in a relationship, but they’re only doing this for the clout?”

“They’re reuniting in a big way.”

“Is this some sort of second-chance romance? You’re living the rom-com life, girl.”

“I’m sure both of your friend groups are betting on you two reuniting.”

“This is no longer your ex.”
