Aldis Hodge is getting his wings, and this time it is laced with Nth metal. 

The actor will be the latest to join the justice league of America as he is set to play the role of Hawkman in the upcoming movie, Black Adam. Directed by Jungle cruise fame, Jaume Collet-Serra, the film will also have Dwayne Johnson playing the anti-hero Black Adam and Noah Centineo as ‘Atom Smasher.’ 

Introduced in the 1940s Flash Comics,  Hawkman aka Carter Hall is as an archaeologist, who also happens to be a reincarnation of an ancient Egyptian prince. Carter who invents the Nth metal which allowed him to defy gravity, he created the costumed identity Hawkman, to fight crime and Nazis.

Hawkman comics ran for 11 years until it disappeared after his appearance in the All-Star Comics No. 57 as a member of the Justice Society of America. Subsequently, DC created multiple incarnations of this character. 

Earlier DC FanDome event had confirmed that Hawkman will be included in the upcoming Black Adam movie as one of the four heroes of the Justice Society. The movie will also feature- Atom Smasher, Doctor Fate, and Cyclone.

Johnson will also be seen producing the project with Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia through their Seven Bucks Productions.
