Following the harsh snowstorms in the southern state of Texas, the Department of Health in Houston has decided to temporarily close down the vaccination sites in the area. The sites have already been forced to compromise on daily operations since the storm began last week, reported CNN.
The department has further vowed to reschedule the pending vaccination appointments in the city after personally contacting those who were scheduled for inoculation of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The United States is currently suffering from multiple power outages. This has left millions of Americans to fend for themselves without any means to keep themselves warm. A dangerous storm has taken over large parts of the US and even extended to Mexico.
Following the announcement made by the National Weather Services which stated that over 150 million Americans are under winter weather advisories, Greg Abbott, the Governor of Texas issued a “disaster declaration” for the entire state.
