Anonymous, the international hacker group, has warned US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene saying “History will not be kind to you, nor will we”.

This message comes a day after she released a video, claiming that Ukrainians were fighting a war they couldn’t win. The clip, nearly ten minutes long, was up as a Facebook Live, hours after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the US Congress.

Besides, Greene also criticized US President Joe Biden for “sabre-rattling” and “dragging America into World War III” through offers of economic and military aid to Ukraine

While her comments echo that of several conservatives, Greene drew the ire of the hacker group which has gone after Russian cyber targets since the nation invaded Ukraine. One of their decentralized accounts posted “Russian asset Marjorie Taylor Greene will go down in history as one of the dumbest politicians ever.”

However, Greene in her video has called Russian President Vladimir Putin “despicable and evil”. She also added “We weep when we see images of men, women and children wounded or killed”, but took a different stance, saying “We cannot and we must not allow our compassion to blind us to reason and common sense”.

The congresswoman also alleged that President Biden has “business interests” in Ukraine. This alludes to the right-wing claim that the Biden family used his political standing to set up businesses in the country.

Greene went on to call Biden a “weak dementia-ridden fossil in the White House”, and said sanctions work against Russia, since they hadn’t worked against Cuba, Iran, and North Korea, in the past. She continued, “Every move the Biden administration has made has hurt Americans and helped Putin. Hardworking Americans, living paycheck-to-paycheck, don’t care about foreign wars or foreign borders. They care about gas prices back home. They care about runaway inflation”.

However, contrary to Greene’s statement, a poll shows a large section of Americans willing to pay inflated gas and oil prices to hurt Russia financially and help stop the invasion of Ukraine.
