Aimee Harris and Robert Kurlander pled guilty to stealing Ashley Biden‘s diary in 2020. Her father Joe Biden was running for US president at the time.
The diary allegedly details Ashley’s struggles with sex addiction and substance abuse.

This is not the first time that Ashley has been in the front of the news.

1) Sex Addiction

Ashley Biden stayed in a halfway house in Palm Beach, Florida, for a rehab stint in June 2020. She kept a diary in which she revealed family secrets, such as “showers with my dad (probably not appropriate)” and details of her drug use and related sex addiction. The president’s own daughter believes his showering with her could have helped create her sex addiction, she allegedly wrote in her diary.

Ashley Biden also claims to have been sexually abused by a family member, who many believe is either her father, Joe Biden, or her half-brother, Hunter Biden. 

2) Substance Abuse

Ashley Biden had her first encounter with law enforcement in New Orleans in 1999 for carrying marijuana as an 18-year-old. She was arrested but freed on a US$1,000 bail. At that time, she was studying at Tulane University. In July 2001, when she was only 20 years old, she was cited for possession of an alcoholic beverage She entered a guilty plea and was subsequently fined $125. This is according to the Howard County, Maryland district court records.

Biden was arrested and charged with obstructing a police officer in Chicago in 2002. She and her two friends, John Kaulentis and  Kelly Donohoe were taken into custody. Biden was charged with “verbally intimidating” an officer while her friends assaulted an officer on duty and also threw soft drinks at them.

A New York Post article reported Ashley Biden snorting cocaine at a party in Delaware in 2009. According to the newspaper, in a video, a woman who resembled Biden snorted lines of white powder on a desk through a red straw before shouting “Shut the f*** up” to others in the room.
