Unlike the US President’s traditions, Joe Biden will be visiting the State Department prior to the CIA or Department of Defense and is expected to shed light on the US’s strategy to maintain and repair relations with other countries while using diplomacy as the key tool, reported CNN.

In contrast to former President Trump’s idea of America’s foreign policy, President Biden is expected to make a substantial shift towards multilateralism and re-establishment of conventional diplomatic channels. The address is not expected to give off details about the US’s policy for countries like Russia, Iran China and North Korea, which share strained relations.
