A shooting incident occurred at the Bordeaux Branch of the Nashville Public Library on Clarksville Pike in North Nashville, resulting in injuries to two people. 

One person was shot inside the library’s walls, while another person was shot outside the building, according to Metro police. Authorities have stated that none of the victims’ injuries are life-threatening, despite the fact that one of them was sent to Skyline Medical Center.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, three teens were detained in Louisiana in connection with a gunshot that took place earlier that day and left a Dallas police officer injured. 

On August 9, at 12:45 in the morning, a cop from the northwest precinct called 911 to report being shot and that his unmarked car had been taken. According to the police, this event happened in the 2400 block of Northwest Highway.

The cop was taken to a nearby hospital after the event when it was discovered that his wounds weren’t life-threatening. The stolen car was finally found and returned.

A few hours later, officers crossed state lines to Shreveport where they found and detained three individuals. These people are Redricous Lewis, a 19-year-old, Redtravion Polk, a 17-year-old, and Xavier Cook, an 18-year-old. Aggravated robbery is the charge brought against all three.

The police have stated that additional charges may be brought while the investigation into the carjacking and the shooting of the officer continues.
