American rock star Bruce Springsteen has lent his
voice to Joe Biden’s ad Joe Biden, two days prior to the US
election. Biden is the Democratic candidate in the election.

Springsteen tweeted the ad, ‘Hometown’, on Saturday. It focuses on Biden’s hometown Scranton, Pennsylvania.

“This is @joebiden’s hometown. This is more than where he’s from. This is who he’s for,” he tweeted.

“Scranton, Pennsylvania, the Boss, Here, success isn’t handed down. It’s forged with sweat, grit and determination.” Springsteen is seen saying in the video.

“This place stays with him, these streets are part of him, this is more than where he is from, it is who he is for,” the 71-year-old singer says of Biden.

In the ad, the American legend noted Biden’s blue-collar roots in Scranton, Pennsylvania, a battleground state likely to play a crucial role this election.

Taking a jibe at the opponent Donald Trump who had been bestowed with his father’s money and fame, the video celebrates Joe Biden as a self made man emerged from the very roots of America.

The ad was released during a football match on Saturday. It ends with the soulful music of Springsteen’s most loved and popular album, “My Hometown,”

It is not the first time for
the remarkable singer and songwriter, who has been extremely vocal about his
support for Biden is and known for bashing Trump as a ‘threat to democracy’ in
public domain, to extend support to the former vice president.

Earlier, Springsteen’s song ‘The
Rising’ was used as background music in an opening video of the Democratic
National Convention in August.
