Dylan Mulvaney, transgender TikTok star infuriated beer drinkers around the United States on Saturday after posting about an alleged collaboration with Bud Light. Mulvaney posted a video on Instagram that showed the TikToker sipping from the famous blue can while wearing a black cocktail dress and matching elbow-length opera gloves.

Mulvaney claimed that Budweiser is celebrating the star living as a girl for a full year by creating a special anniversary beer can.

Mulvaney has gained over 10 million followers on TikTok and 1.7 million on Instagram with his TikTok series 100 Days of Girlhood, documenting his transition from male to female. Mulvaney identifies as a transgender woman but he is biologically male. Previously, he worked as a Broadway musical actor. During the pandemic, he started transitioning to a woman.

“This month I celebrated my day 365 of womanhood, and Bud Light sent me possibly the best gift ever — a can with my face on it,” Mulvaney said in the video.

While some internet users appreciated Mulvaney, other made fun of the alleged partnership with Bud Light.

Mulvaney met with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to receive a letter of congratulations on having spent a full year documenting the gender change on social media. Mulvaney has had collaborations with Kitchen Aid, Ulta and Maybelline.

In October 2022, Mulvaney had the opportunity to interview President Joe Biden. The topic of the discussion majorly was the increase in anti-trans legislation being passed by states and how gender-affirming healthcare was being banned.

According to a DailyMail report from November 2022, Mulvaney was likely to make around $1 million in endorsement deals in 2021 alone.
