A young TikTok user became famous overnight after her heroic act of standing up to a bear in her own home’s backyard went viral. The youngster is a resident of California’s Sab Gabriel city.

A security camera footage shows an adult brown bear walking on a brick wall, which seems like the fence of the teenager’s house. Moments later, the pet dogs of the TikTok user were seen scrambling towards the bears.

The two cubs were seen going back into hiding, however, the mama bear seemed to raise her paw against the dogs.

This is when Hailey Morinico, the teenage girl, is seen running towards the scene in an attempt to save her pet dogs from getting attacked. Before picking up one of the dogs, she pushed the mama bear off the ledge with her bare hands.

“I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s a bear and it is taking my dog. It is lifting it up off the ground. In that split second, I decided to push the bear, like it was nothing, apparently”, reported NBC.

No serious injuries were reported after the incident.
