A shooting at 315 Cambridge Avenue East, Greenwood, resulted in the death of a woman who was 9 months into her pregnancy. Greenwood Police Department is investigating the incident.

The police arrived at the spot around 1 a.m. on Thursday and upon arrival found the victim with gunshot wounds in a bedroom. They pronounced her dead on the scene.

Ahkeyra Phylann Raysor, 22, of Columbia was identified as the victim by the Greenwood County Coroner’s Office.

The department said that the detectives are investigating a person of interest in the case. 

They have also confirmed that the incident is in no way connected to the shooting incident on Thursday morning in which two were killed.

The investigation into the scene is still on and more details will be added as they come. 

On Friday, another shooting incident took place in Knoxville, Tennessee where a man was shot for protesting shoplifters at a local store.

The police said that the suspect in the incident is still at large and is carrying a gun. They identified him as a male between the ages of late teens and early twenties, 5’8 to 5’10 in height, 145 to 165 pounds, with brown or black hair.  

He is wearing a blue bag, either dark grey sweatpants or light grey shorts, a light grey hoodie with an emblem on the front, blue and white tennis shoes, and a blue bag.
