A shooting occurred in Cumberland County on Saturday afternoon, resulting in losing one person’s life. Additionally, three other individuals were injured in the incident.

On Saturday afternoon, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office received complaints of a “physical disturbance” at the BP station at 4001 Pembroke Lane. Deputies responded right afterward and got to the location just before 1 p.m. when they discovered four people had been shot during the altercation. Tragically, one victim of the incident was declared dead, while three others were injured.
The 40-year-old Nicholas Tavel Grady has been named as one of the victims. After the shooting, he was taken to the hospital, but tragically, he died as a result of his wounds.
The other victims of the shooting are still unidentified, and neither are their conditions.
The incident does not appear to be a random act of violence, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, indicating that there may be a particular connection or motivation behind the shooting. The authorities are actively investigating the case to gather more information and to apprehend any individuals involved in this tragic incident.

Meanwhile, another shooting incident was reported in the 4200 block of Dudley Road, which is near the Cedar Creek community, as per Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
A guy has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of a Fayetteville man on Saturday night, Cumberland County deputies reported on Sunday afternoon. This individual is wanted for questioning. The suspect is wanted by police in connection with the fatal shooting and is thought to be a person of interest in the case.
When deputies arrived on the scene on Dudley Road, they found a man’s body who had been shot to death. According to the news release, the victim was eventually identified as Bryant Thomas King, 34, of Fayetteville.

After conducting their investigation, the officers acquired a warrant for the arrest of 20-year-old Fayetteville resident Hamzah Abdullah Thompson. He is accused of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Bryant Thomas King, according to the arrest warrant.
