Multiple firefighting crews battled a fire at Elizabeth Forward High School in Elizabeth Township early Sunday morning.
The high school is located on Weigles Hill Road in Elizabeth. the fire reportedly started at 5 a.m. on Sunday. There are no reports of any injuries so far. According to authorities, o one was inside the building at the time the blaze began.

Thick grey smoke accompanied by flames could be seen coming from the roof of the school’s auditorium roof. Multiple ladder trucks were on the scene. Crews from Jefferson Hills, Elizabeth Forward, Munhall, and others responded to the four-alarm fire.
The superintendent of the high school told CBS News said they were heartbroken but were thankful at the same time that no one was in the building at the time of the blaze.
