Elon Musk has trashed rumours which proclaimed that he had an affair with Nicole Shanahan, the wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin. The SpaceX founder has himself taken to Twitter to specify that he had met Shanahan publicly on a couple of occasions only and that there was nothing romantic between them.

The Wall Street Journal had earlier reported that it was Musk’s affair with Shanahan that made the 48-year-old Brin file for divorce in early 2022. The Journal had also conjectured that the two business tycoons were friends, but this now-denied affair had soured their relationship. However, not only did Musk deny the rumors, but also replied to a tweet that he was at a party with Brin quite recently, and that the two continue to be pals:
The Tesla CEO has not only denied this alleged affair on Twitter, but has also stated that he has not been sexually active for quite some time:
Musk, the richest man in the world, has been involved in numerous affairs in the past. Moreover, several reports suggest that Musk became father to twins in November 2021 with one of his yet-unnamed senior employees. He has been married three times, and has 10 children in total. The 51-year-old tycoon was also caught in the crossfire during the well-publicized Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial, with the Pretoria-born Musk seemingly having an affair with the ‘Aquaman’ star when she was married to Depp.

The Tesla CEO is facing some heat at the moment on the business side of things as well, with Twitter suing him after he informed the social media giant that he was no longer going through with his $44-billion USD acquisition of the company.
