Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour was found dead in her car a few hours after neighbor complained of gunshots in the area.

The locals informed the 911 call about the gunshots being fired. However, the damage was done before the cops could get there. According to the Sayreville Police Department, Dwumfour was found having multiple gunshots wounds. Afterwards, she was taken to the hospital instantly but was announced dead immediately after.

Eunice Dwumfour: Age, Career, Family

Eunice Dwumfour was a 30-year-old councilwoman of the republican city, New Jersey. She was a business analyst, IT professional and a part-time EMT worker. Dwumfour just began her career in 2022. She served in the borough council after her victory over the democratic opponent.

She lived near the Garden State Parkway in Sayreville in New Jersey. Sayreville Mayor have expressed his grief over her demise in an official statement published by his office. He also condemned the despicable criminal act and shared condolences with her family. A lot of colleagues and friends have also paid their tributes over social media.

She was a hardworking, kind woman who performed all her duty with diligence. Along with her career in borough council, she also served on Sayreville’s human relations commission. She graduated from William Patterson University with a degree in women’s studies. Additionally, she also worked as the director of churches for an international ministry, Champions Royal Academy.

The news of this unexpected and unfortunate incident has left many hearts broken and many lived saddened. “She was 30 years young and full of life, you will be missed my dead, precious friend,” Juan and Nelia, from Sayreville’s human relations commission wrote on their Facebook account.

Investigations have not revealed the true motive behind the attach. However, speculations are being made citing her political leanings and racial background.
