Fox News is reportedly planning to announce major changes to its prime time line up which may include Sean Hannity taking former Fox News man Tucker Carlson’s 8 PM slot. According to a report by Drudge, the new line up doesn’t feature Laura Ingraham, which may signal her exit from the network.

Independent Investigative Journalist Brian Krassenstein wrote on Twitter that the new line up may have Jesse Watters at 9 PM, while Greg Gutfeld will get the 10 PM slot. Fox News has not confirmed yet that Ingraham is gone, he added. The 9 PM and 10 PM slots belonged to Hannity and Ingrahams, respectively.
Fox has responded to the report, stating, “No decision has been made on a new primetime lineup and there are multiple scenarios under consideration.” Meanwhile, the news has invited significant traction on social media, with several Twitter users expressing their opinions as well as memes on the possible move.

After a long line of controversies, Fox News fired Tucker Carlson, its most popular opinion host, at the end of April. Advertisers are reportedly returning to the 8 p.m. slot that Carlson previously held, but viewership has sharply decreased, which may be the reason behind the shake up.
A Twitter user, writing about the move, said, Because Hannity will put out whatever nonsense the corporate overlords tell him to. Even Boomers can’t stand #Hannity anymore.”
Both Watters and Gutfeld currently co-host Fox’s top-rated program The Five at 5 PM. Watters also hosts one of Fox’s top-rated shows at 7 PM, while Gutfeld hosts a popular late-night show at 11 PM. In April 2022, Hannity surpassed Larry King’s 25 years, 6 months, and 15 days of service as the longest-running prime time host of cable news, shattering the previous record. Meanwhile, Carlson has recently announced that he is going to relaunch his show on Twitter.
