A shooting incident occurred in a parking garage at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon. The shooting involved several people, as per police report.

Law officers responded quickly to reports of gunshots being fired at around 1:17 p.m. Authorities verified that there was no active shooter scenario, and no injuries have been reported as of now.
Police officers discovered many vehicles that had been the target of gunfire within the boundaries of the parking garage.
There is still no information on what led up to the shooting. Law enforcement is still conducting their investigation despite the fact that one person has been arrested at this time.

The lockdown that had initially been imposed on the hospital has now been lifted as a precaution. After the incident, Grady Hospital also released a statement, “Grady Hospital was on lockdown for a short time due to reports of gunshots fired on the second level of one of our parking decks. The hospital is no longer on lockdown and normal operations have resumed. There was never an active shooter inside the hospital.”

Meanwhile, a 1-year-old boy who was shot on the southern edge of the city on Tuesday afternoon has died, the Police Department has confirmed, bringing tragedy to South Bend.
At around 12:40, officers were sent to the 800 block of Amhurst Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. When they arrived, they saw the infant had been shot. The boy’s struggle came to an end when he died while being urgently brought to the hospital. His identity hasn’t been made public yet.
Authorities have not provided any information on a suspected suspect. They are looking for all the possible angles to solve the case.
