A man was killed and another injured following a shooting in Hollywood, Saturday afternoon. It was reported around 2:15 PM on the 6500 block of Sunset Boulevard, as per the Los Angeles Police Department

When officers arrived at the scene, they found one man dead from his injuries, while the other was suffering from undisclosed injuries. The second individual was conscious and breathing but the nature of his wounds wasn’t made clear.

The injured man was taken to the hospital and later reported to be in stable condition.

Los Angeles Police Lt. Jon Radtke said, “A struggle over a bag would suggest some sort of robbery. Given that it was a cannabis event, I think it’s possible there was marijuana or money involved”, KTLA reported.

They later added, “We want to thank everybody reaching out and offering support due to these unfortunate events. Thankfully everybody is okay, situation that occurred in the street near the venue and everybody inside the venue was safe.”
