Following the disclosure on Monday that 10 sensitive documents were discovered in President Joe Biden’s former think tank office in Washington, Biden disclosed on Thursday that further classified documents were discovered inside his Delaware garage near his Corvette.

The shocking information was revealed while the Justice Department investigated whether Biden may have misused confidential material after he left his position as vice president in 2017. At 1:15 pm, Attorney General Merrick Garland was scheduled to speak, possibly appointing a special counsel in the case.

“Classified materials next to your Corvette? What were you thinking?” After Biden spoke about annual inflation moving lower to 6.5% in December, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy queried him.

“My Corvette is in a locked garage, okay? So it’s not like they’re sitting out on the street,” Biden replied.

“I also said we’re cooperating fully and completely with the Justice Department’s review. As part of that process, my lawyers reviewed other places where documents might —  from my time as vice president — were stored and they finished the review last night. They discovered a small number of documents with classified markings in storage areas and file cabinets in my home and my personal library,” Biden added.

How many cars does President Biden own?

President Biden, like many other auto aficionados, has a fleet of wonderful cars in his collection that was previously fairly large before he was elected president.

As one of the most sought-after historic automobiles available, the 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C2) that Biden owns commands a high price today. Notably, its engine, which has a 360 hp output capacity, is undoubtedly its strongest attribute.

As his father oversaw a car dealership in Delaware for 34 years, Biden grew up surrounded by automobiles. Although the dealership mostly sold Chrysler vehicles, it briefly managed Ford business activities. Biden was allowed to drive several of the cars in the garage by his father, which is perhaps where his love of automobiles began.

1951 Studebaker Champion was Biden’s first car. Some of the first automobiles built following World War II included this type and others from the Studebaker assembly line.

A 1952 Plymouth Cranbrook Convertible painted in candy-apple red served as Biden’s second vehicle. This vintage vehicle had a split windscreen and a six-cylinder, 97-horsepower flathead engine.

The car that holds a special place in Biden’s heart and is still in his garage today is a magnificent Goodwood-Green 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. His father gave him this vintage as a wedding gift in August 1967; it was the final 1967 C2 Corvette model. It has a tasteful finish and exudes vintage charm.
