The 45th President of the United States Donald Trump on Sunday lashed out at President-elect Joe Biden, while questioning the sanctity of the recently-concluded Presidential election and labelling the November 3 election, as ‘rigged.’

The outgoing President who is yet to concede the election to his democratic rival Joe Biden tweeted, “RIGGED ELECTION. WE WILL WIN!”

The outgoing President also refused to concede and wrote ‘I concede NOTHING.’

He hit out at the ‘fake news media’ stating Biden had won only in the eyes of the media. He added “We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!” 

Social media website Twitter was quick to flag the claims made by the outgoing President and labelled his tweets as ‘disputed.’

President-elect Joe Biden was declared the winner of the November 3 US Presidential Election 2020 after winning 306 electoral college votes, equalling Donald Trump’s margin from 2016.

While the final results of the US election is yet to be declared with votes still being counted in a few states, a decisive result has already emerged.

The media had crowned Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden the winner after he clinched key swing states of Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia ensuring Donald Trump’s stay at the White House was limited to one term.

Earlier on Sunday, Trump had said that ‘No vote watchers or observes were allowed.” He also had blamed the company Dominion, calling them a “Radical Left privately owned company.”

He lashed out at the company saying, “Dominion, with a bad reputation & bum equipment that couldn’t even qualify for Texas (which I won by a lot!), the Fake & Silent Media, & more!”

Since the election loss, the Trump campaign has been defiant in accepting the outcome and has alleged voter fraud and has blamed fraudulent mail-in votes as the reason for the defeat.

The Trump campaign has since launched a slew of lawsuits challenging the outcome of the elections in the swing states of Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and others.

On election night of November 3, the President had declared himself victorious, stating that he had won a ‘huge margin,’ saying ‘as far I’m concerned, We Won.”

With President elect Joe Biden’s victory in the US Presidential election of 2020, America has elected its oldest President, besides crowning it’s first African-American Vice President of South Asian origin in Kamala Harris. President-Elect Biden will take his oath on January 20th, 2021.
