Soon after the first season of NBA, the Indiana Pacers have fired Nate Bjorkgen as its head coach, according to a report by ESPN. According to the report, management of Pacers met Nate Bjorkgen on Tuesday and said that due to the disconnect between him and the locker room they have decided to dismiss him as the head coach. Nate Bjorkgren had signed a three-year contract with Pacers in 2020.

Earlier, Nate Bjorkgen used to work as an NBA assistant with Toronto Raptors and Phoenix. He also worked under Nick Nurse and won the 2019 NBA championship.

Indiana’s six years playoff streak ended after they lost to Washington Wizards, with 34-38 points. Nate Bjorkgren signed a three-year contract with Indiana Pacer in 2020.
