The official Twitter account of the Olympic Games is fangirling over the new GOAT emoji given to American gymnast Simone Biles by Twitter. The 24-year-old has already made history in the Tokyo Olympics, whether she wins or loses.

“Don’t mind us, just testing out the #SimoneBiles emoji,” the official account cheekily wrote in a tweet.

The reigning all-around champion, who has long been considered as the best gymnast of all time, has become the first athlete on Twitter to be given their own emoji.

Biles now has her own emoji, a goat wearing a leotard and holding a gold medal, according to the social networking site.

The sign alludes to Biles’ reputation as the “Greatest of All Time,” a moniker the 24-year-old Olympian has earned in recent years.

She is the first Olympian and the first female athlete to get her own GOAT emoji on Twitter as a result of the change.

“Witness greatness. Tweet with greatness,” the official Twitter Sports account wrote in announcing the emoji.

The symbol is created by adding Tweets into the system with the hashtags #SimoneBiles or #Simone.

Biles began competing in a leotard with silver rhinestones in the form of a goat’s head fairly recently. The leotard design is designed to inspire others, according to the American star, who has nicknamed her own goat character ‘Goldie.’

Biles debuted her blinged-out goat on the back of her leotard during the 2021 GK U.S. Classic gymnastics competition at the Indiana Convention Center on May 22.

On June 4, she wore one on her shoulder at the 2021 U.S. Gymnastics Championships at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, and another on her waist two days later at the same competition.

“I just hope that kids growing up watching this don’t or aren’t ashamed of being good at whatever they do,” she said in a recent interview. “I want kids to learn that, yes, it’s okay to acknowledge that you’re good or even great at something.”

In the past, Twitter has granted athletes GOAT emojis, although men like NFL stars Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes have previously held the digital title.
