The Isley Brothers are set to take on Earth, Wind and Fire in the latest episode of Verzuz series. The entertainment series puts artists and producers against each other in a battle format on Instagram Live and Triller.

During the battles, the artists take turns to play songs from a list of 20 from their discography while fans and fellow artists watch them, according to NME. Timbaland and Swizz Beatz then later decide and announce the winner.

While the Isley Brothers will battle it out with Earth, Wind and Fire on Easter Sunday, a rematch is scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend.

Wu-Tang Clan MCs Raekwon and Ghostface Killah were involved in a Verzuz battle last weekend, which was the first to be streamed through Triller as part of the latest deal with Timbaland and Swizz Beatz.

A Verzuz spokesperson told Billboard that in order to celebrate the series’ one-year anniversary, co-founders Swizz Beatz and Timbaland will have a battle of their own.

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland said, “This is a momentous occasion not only for Verzuz and Triller but the music business as a whole. By putting Verzuz in the Triller Network ecosystem and expanding the Verzuz brand to be side by side with the powerful Triller app, we will be able to continue to grow and evolve the music business as a whole, as we have been doing.”

They added, “To have partners in Triller who share our vision, specifically to celebrate and elevate the amazing artists who continue to shape culture around the world and give the consumer more direct access, is game changing.”
