While polling results are still underway in the US, a video of Senator Bernie Sanders has gone viral on social media in which he can be seen suspecting the jaw-droppingly accurate election drama and the reaction of President Donald Trump during the vote-counting process.

Appearing on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ last month, Sanders was asked about when he thinks the election results would be known.

The 79-year-old then told the host that the states could be flooded with mail-in ballots this election and the results would probably be delayed.

“You’re going to have the situation which I suspect in states in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, other states where they are going to be receiving huge amounts of mail-in ballots,” Sanders said.

Watch the original video:

“And unlike states like Florida or Vermont, they’re not able, for bad reasons, to begin processing those ballots until I don’t know – Election Day or maybe when the polls close. That means you’re going to have states dealing with perhaps millions of mail-in ballots,” he said, which turned out to be true.

Apparently, Sanders’ future sight was so effective that he also predicted the drama of Election Day.

“It could well be that, at 10 o’clock on election night, Trump is winning in Michigan, he’s winning in Pennsylvania, he’s winning in Wisconsin, and he gets on the television and says, ‘Thank you Americans for re-electing me. It’s all over, have a good day’,” he said.

This is exactly what happened on Wednesday at 2.30 am.  The US President falsely claimed victory and said, “We were getting ready to win this election, frankly we did win this election.”

The viral clip that was shared by a Twitter account @hannahhycho, has crossed 28 million views in the last 24 hours.

On the show, Sanders continued sharing his nail-biting forecast. “But then, the next day and the day following, all those mail-in ballots start getting counted and it turns out that Biden has won those states. At which point, Trump says, ‘See? I told the whole thing was fraudulent. I told you those mail-in ballots were crooked. You know, we’re not going to leave office,” he said.

Cut to reality, Biden did flip Michigan and Wisconsin in his favour. He is also close to winning the states where votes are still being counted. Trump has made it clear that he would not accept the reported results. His campaign announced lawsuits in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia and demanded a recount in Wisconsin.
