Donald Trump’s first wife, Ivana Trump, died on Thursday at the age of 73. The former president of the United States shared a post on his social media platform Truth Social remembering Ivana as “a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life.”

Ivana and Donald Trump have three children together – Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric Trump.

Ivana Trump was a businesswoman, fashion designer, former Olympic athlete, and former model. According to Celebrity Net Worth, she was worth an estimated $105 million.

During her marriage to Donald Trump, Ivana took on major roles in The Trump Organization, working as a senior executive for seven years. She was also an executive vice president for interior design for the organization. She spearheaded the interior design of Trump Tower with its signature pink marble.

Ivana was appointed CEO and president of the Trump Castle Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City and later became the manager of the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.

In the mid-90s, she started House of Ivana, a fragrance and fashion company. Since then, she built her own empire. She purchased 33% of Croatia’s second-largest daily newspaper, launched her own lifestyle magazine, and published several books.

But, most of her net worth was accumulated during her marriage to Donald Trump. She received compensation as part of their divorce agreement, which included several million dollars, a 45-room mansion in Connecticut, and an apartment in the Trump Plaza.

After getting divorced from Donald Trump, Ivana started her own lines of beauty products, clothing and jewelry – Ivana, Inc. and Ivana Haute Couture.

Ivana also made millions in several lawsuits. Besides the divorce from Trump, Ivana sued Finnish fashion brand Ivana Helsinki for using her name. She also sued her second husband, Italian businessman Ricardo Mazzucchelli, for $15 million.

The Czech-American published several books, including For Love Alone (1992), Free to Love (1993) and a self-help book called The Best Is Yet to Come: Coping with Divorce and Enjoying Life Again (1995).

Ivana also wrote an advice column about love and life for Globe, titled Ask Ivana, from June 1995 through January 2010. She contributed an advice column for Divorce Magazine in 2001.

She released an autobiography, Raising Trump, in 2017, that included her own upbringing and the early years of motherhood.
