US President Joe Biden told a crowd in Atlanta on Tuesday that he supports changing Senate rules in order to pass voting rights legislation. However, what really caught social media users’ attention was that he referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as ‘President Harris’ once during the speech.

Biden and Harris were in Georgia to endorse changing Senate rules that have stalled voting rights legislation. During the speech, Biden said that he had been having quiet conversations with Senators over the two bills up for debate that have been stalled because there aren’t enough Republican votes to move them past filibuster to votes.

“I’m tired of being quiet!” he said while pounding the podium. “I will not yield. I will not flinch,” in the effort to protect democracy.

However, at some point during the speech, Biden referred to Harris as the president. People soon took to Twitter to point out the slip-up.

“Is there a speech where Biden DOESN’T accidentally call Kamala Harris the President?” one person asked.

“How many times is Biden going to call Kamala “President Harris” during his speech today?” another user commented.

Incidentally, this is not the first time that Biden has referred to Harris as the president. While delivering a speech at South Carolina State University last year, Biden said, “… all kidding aside, of course, President Harris, who’s a proud Howard alum, she might have something to say about Delaware State.”
