Newly-elected US President Joe Biden will be seen interacting and answering questions raised by Americans in an event being hosted on February 16 at 9pm ET by CNN.
The event will be aired live from the Pabst Theater and marks Biden’s first official trip to Wisconsin after being sworn as the President.
While the country struggles to handle the coronavirus pandemic, the main topics of discussion are speculated to revolve around COVID-19, vaccines, economy, former president Donald Trump’s impeachment, climate change, and green sector jobs among others. Questions concerning the Capitol attack may also be raised.
The event will be moderated by CNN’s Anderson Cooper. As per a CNN spokesperson, only select individuals with invitations would be allowed to enter the venue. A socially-distanced audience present during the talk. Wisconsin’s regulations are to be followed to ensure a safe event.
The Biden administration has been firmly pushing to get every American citizen vaccinated. The virus having wreaked havoc globally has caused quite a lot of damage to the economies of almost all countries. They have been focusing on introducing new measures to restart the economy and reinstate life back to normal.
Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package is aimed at giving more aid to the people heavily impacted by the pandemic. It also aims to give extra support to state and local governments and small businesses. The Senate is yet to pass the bill.
