The President was cycling with First Lady Jill Biden in a state park and had stopped to talk to onlookers when he fell. A video from a White House pool report showed him immediately getting up.

“I’m good,” he said.

Watch the video:

Joe Biden was biked his way to a group of about 30 people, as per the New York Post, who had gathered near the press pool. A woman wished him a ‘Happy Father’s Day’ as others clapped and cheered.

However, just when the bike was stationary, Biden fell to his right on his elbow and knee. The agents scrambled to help him up but the President refused. No cuts or scrapes from the fall were visible, reporters said.

A White House pool report said that the result of the fall was “a mad scramble of Secret Service and press”.

“No medical attention is needed. The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family,” a White House official said.

After getting up, Biden joked, “I’m not going to talk to you on my vacation.”

Here are some reactions to Joe Biden’s fall:

“Can’t believe Putin made Biden fall off his bike…crazy what that guy can do from across the world,” a Twitter user said.

“Biden shows the world today how quickly he can make things fall,” another one tweeted.

” I knew it was only a matter of time that Biden would fall riding his bike! He can’t walk up stairs so, it makes sense!” a third one said.

The health of the oldest US Presiden  has been under the scanner, especially because of the speculation around his 2024 bid. In November 2020, Biden broke his  foot while playing with his pet German shepherds.
