A video of President Joe Biden’s meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Tuesday appeared to show him mumbling nervously and gazing at the ground.

At their meeting at the White House, Biden said, “We brought Israelis and Palestinians together at a political level and uh, uh, a, uh,” before he looked down and stuttered. It’s unclear what Biden said because he spoke in a low voice and seemed to mumble.

Critics of Biden took this opportunity to troll the US President. One person wrote, “The look of concern on the Israeli President’s face says it all—someone needs to give him his cocaine back”

The United States reaffirmed its commitment to Israel’s security at the meeting, which took place commemorating 75 years of the establishment of the Jewish state. On Monday, during escalating hostilities between the two leaders, Biden extended an invitation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to White House national security spokesman John Kirby, the presidents discussed a “broad range of global and regional issues,” including containing Iran and achieving a two-state solution.

According to a White House official, “the two leaders agreed to remain in close touch and to meet in the United States later this year to discuss matters of mutual concern further.” The right-wing Israeli government’s efforts to weaken the country’s courts have sparked anger and given rise to the apparent tensions.
