President-elect
Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are set to sworn in to office
on Wednesday, i.e. January 20 outisde the Capitol building after months of massive campaigning and Donald
Trump’s desperate attempt to overturn the election results, which led to riots
in the Capitol building of the US.

The inaugural committee, however, has not released a time specific schedule for the events so far, here is what we know about the ceremony timings and the events post that.

8:45 am (US time)

According to USA Today, Biden, Harris along their spouses will attend the mass at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle where they will be joined by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy with others.

10:00 am-12:30 pm (US time)

The inaugural committee will host a first of its kind live stream event for young
Americans before and during the Inaugural Ceremonies.

This
live stream will be hosted by Keke Palmer and witness appearances from Dr. Jill
Biden with segments on presidential pets followed by student voices from PBS
NewsHour Student Reporting Labs and much more.

10:30 am (US time)

Around this time, President-elect and Vice
President-elect will arrive at the US capitol building for the oath ceremony, along with their spouses, reports USA Today.

11:15
am 
(US time)

The
inauguration ceremony will expectedly begin around this time and the Rev. Leo
O’Donovan, a former Georgetown University president, will give the invocation
at the ceremony. The Pledge of Allegiance on the other hand will be led by
Andrea Hall, a firefighter from Georgia.

American
Singer Lady Gaga will perform the National Anthem followed by some additional
musical fillers.

According to AP, Harris will be sworn in first using two bibles by first Latina justice, Judge
Sonia Sotomayor.

12 noon (US time)

Democrat
Joe Biden will take oath on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol building
becoming the 46th president of the United States.

After
the oath for office, Biden will deliver his inaugural address.

Joe Biden,
the incoming First Lady, Harris, and the incoming Second Gentleman will take part
in a Pass in Review on the East Front of the Capitol with members of the
military after the oath ceremony post which they will visit Arlington National
Cemetery to offer homage at the Tomb of the martyred soldiers. 

Biden
will then get an escort to the White House where he will assume control of the Oval
Office. Later a virtual Parade, which will be televised and feature diverse,
dynamic performances in communities across the country, will take place.
