The Justice for J6 rally in Washington DC has prompted series of road closures in the national capital of the United States, according to US media reports citing documents sent to the staff of the US Senate.

The Washington Post reported that at least five streets in Washington DC will be sealed for visitors on September 18. A number of other streets will have restricted access, which includes parking prohibitions.

The streets, according to Washington Post, that will be sealed off in anticipation of Justice for J6 rallies are:

1) Third Street NW from Constitution Avenue NW to Independence Avenue SW

2) Pennsylvania Avenue NW from Constitution Avenue NW to Third Street NW

3) Madison Drive NW from Fourth Street SW to Third Street NW

4) Jefferson Drive SW from Fourth Street SW to Third Street SW

5) Maryland Avenue SW from Independence Avenue SW to Third Street SW

The streets with parking restrictions include:

Third Street from Constitution Avenue NW to Independence Avenue SW.

1) Constitution Avenue from Third Street NW to Louisiana Avenue NW.

2) Pennsylvania Avenue from Constitution Avenue NW to Third Street NW.

3) Maryland Avenue from Independence Avenue, SW to Third Street SW.

4) I Street from 15th Street NW to 17th Street NW.

5) H Street from 15th Street NW to 17th Street NW.

6) 17th Street from Constitution Avenue NW to L Street NW (west side of Farragut Square).

7) 17th Street from I Street NW to K Street NW (east side of Farragut Square).

8) 15th Street from Constitution Avenue NW to L Street NW (east side of McPherson Square).

9) 15th Street from I Street to K Street NW (west side of McPherson Square).

10) Connecticut Avenue from H Street NW to L Street NW.

11) Vermont Avenue from H Street NW to L Street NW.

Other preventive measures that are being taken by Washington DC authorities, who have received reports of possible violence due to the rally, include erecting fencing around the Capitol premises and keeping the National Guard on standby.

The Justice for J6 rally is scheduled to commence at noon local time.
