After publicly shaming his estranged wife, Kanye West has decided to keep himself away from the public eye and also watch his words on social media. The rapper allegedly told Kim Kardashian that he would “go away somewhere to get better.”

According to Page Six, which cited sources, West is trying to amends to his actions for the sake of his children. Sources close to the Kardashian family said that West has agreed to stop Kim and cyberbullying her boyfriend Pete Davidson.

His actions of publicly humiliating Kim led to his suspension from Instagram for 24 hours last month. His performance was also pulled from Sunday’s Grammys.

“For the sake of the kids, Kanye has told Kim he’s not making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements, and he will go away somewhere to get better,” a source close to the Kardashians told Page Six.

The source also said that it wasn’t clear if the 44-year-old was hinting at any plans of getting himself checked-in into a treatment facility.

A rep for West told Page Six, “At this time, Ye is committed to a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kim and is and focused on raising their beautiful children.”

Concerns about West’s health grew after he repeatedly harassed Kardashian’s boyfriend, “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson for weeks through his music and on Instagram. In a song, West rapped that he wanted to “beat Pete Davidson’s a–.” The public slamming of Davidson went to such an extent that Kim had to intervene and request West to end his rants.

West also dragged Kardashian, claiming on Instagram that she had kept him from seeing their four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4 and Psalm, 2.

“Please stop with this narrative, you were just here this morning picking up the kids for school,” Kim said, reacting to the claims.
