American Gospel Singer Kelly Price was reported to be missing from her Georgia home after she left the hospital where she was being treated for COVID-19, according to media reports. The American star gospel singer has been following a welfare check conducted at her Georgia home last Saturday, the Sun reported.

While CBS46 reported that Kelly’s daughter claimed that her mother is fine, the singer’s legal representative said that she has been isolating at an undisclosed location and is safe.

According to a TMZ report, the officials of Cobb County did not suspect any foul play in the incident after talking to Price’s fiance.

Some reports had come in that Price had been found and had reached her family; the Cobb County officials term such reports as false, according to the Sun.

“No one in our division has been contacted by her family members to confirm Kelly is back home and safe. Any reports stating otherwise are false and unauthorized as of right now. We hope to find Kelly safe and when that happens, we will let the public know,” The Sun quoted an unnamed official as saying.

Price had confirmed in a video she posted on July 29 that she tested positive for the virus.

The singer also said that she was “struggling” with the symptoms related to the disease and they continued to get more severe.

Price’s family said that they were “in touch” with her during her stay at the hospital a week into August. The singer’s children visited “several times,” according to the family.

Price is presumed to have stayed in the hospital for three weeks but then, her family says that they got a call that she had been discharged.

The call was surprising for her family as they thought that she had yet to recover from the virus, the Sun reported
