The 94th Academy Awards will have a lot in store for viewers. From comedic hosts to biggest snubs, the award event is also set to feature a few first-timers nominated under various categories.

Here is a list of all the first-time nominees at the Oscars 2022.

Beyoncé

Already reigning over the throne of winning the highest number of Grammys, the 40-year-old vocalist will make her nomination debut under the Best Original Song category for ‘Be Alive’, a track featured in the best picture nominee ‘King Richard’.

According to ‘King Richard’ actor Will Smith, Beyoncé asked to write a song for the film after attending its screening event.

“The marriage of a movie and a song is a kind of magic that’s unmatched in entertainment. I was so happy when Beyoncé called,” Smith told EW.

Kristen Stewart

After being snubbed by the SAG Awards, Stewart managed to earn an Oscar nomination for her role as Princess Diana in ‘Spencer’.

“I am speechless and humbled this morning,” she said in a statement to ET.

“I am bowled over by this. I never thought in a thousand years I’d be in the company of these four incredible women. I would pay to make movies. I would make them if it was illegal. This is a dream state, to share on this level,” Stewart added.
