Lil Durk proposed to his girlfriend India Royale on Saturday, December 18, 2021. The home- town hero was heading the WGCI Big Jam in Chicago when he chose to get down on one knee and propose to his long-term lover.

There were around 150,000 attendees when the gesture was made by Lil Durk. The performer got down on one knee, revealed the ring and went ahead with the million-dollar question. 

Durk said, “You know I love you to death.” He proceeded by saying, “You’ve been holding me down when I was going through a lot. You’re the realest and I just love you to death. Would you want to be my wife?”

To this, India, his girlfriend, replied with an emotional “yes” leading to an uproar of excitement by the audience at the United Center.

Lil Durk is an American rapper and singer from Chicago, Illinois. He is the founder and lead singer of the record label “Only the Family.” His popularity grew after he featured in  Drake’s hit track Laugh Now Cry Later in 2020.

India Royale is a 26-year old Instagram influencer and model. She has two older sisters and one elder brother.  She is the owner of two beauty businesses called India Royale Beauty and India Royale’s Hair Vendor. Her YouTube channel has close to 430,000 subscribers at the moment. The model is already a mother of two from a previous relationship.

The couple has been dating since 2017, and have had a stable, healthy relationship.

Earlier this year, Lil Durk and India became victims of a home invasion at the former’s residence in Georgia.
