The Madame Tussauds wax museum in Berlin loaded its model of US President Donald Trump on a dumpster ahead of the US Presidential Election, as per a Reuters report.

The effigy of Trump hitched a ride on a dumpster making an exit off the podium that hosts all former US Presidents, in what Reuters calls a reflection of expectations ahead of the November 3 polls.

The museum’s marketing director, Orkide Yalcindag further stated, “Today’s activity is rather of a symbolic character ahead of the elections in the United States.”

“We here at Madame Tussauds Berlin removed Donald Trump’s waxwork as a preparatory measure,” reported Reuters quoting Yalcindag.

In what seems to be a calculated insult to the 45th President of the United States, the statue of his predecessor Barack Obama retained its usual place, as per Reuters report.

President Donald Trump has been trailing rival Joe Biden ahead of the Presidential elections according to the recent polls. Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic has caused a backlash amongst American voters, and most major news networks predict him to lose the elections.

President Trump however, had been in a similar position in 2016, when Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton enjoyed a handsome lead over rival Trump only to concede the election on November 3,2016.

The Madame Tussauds wax museum however includes all former US presidents and the reason behind the dumping of Trump remains unclear.
