Marc Anthony’s Pa’ Alla Voy tour was canceled mid-way after the Grammy Award-winning performer suffered an injury. Concertgoers at the Rommel Fernández Stadium in Panama said they received the announcement from the event’s management.
The event organizers’ told the public that the concert was being canceled due to an accident that Anthony suffered backstage, minutes before he was scheduled to hit the floor.
“Marc Anthony had to postpone his concert in Panama due to an accident involving the stage’s stairs, occurring minutes before his appearance onstage. The injury resulted in complications on his back, which prevented his live performance,” the statement read.

“Currently, Marc is being transported to Miami to be attended by his specialists. We are grateful for medical personnel in Panama, who immediately provided their services and to all guests who were present for the concert.”
Anthony’s fans were worried about the singer’s condition after the news surfaced. Meanwhile, some of the attendants were also concerned about the reimbursement in such a situation.
Magic Dream, the company that organized the event, reportedly said that the concert will have a new date that will soon be revealed. Those who already have a ticket won’t have to make any extra purchases for the same.

This isn’t the first time one of Anthony’s shows being canceled. Last February, the singer canceled a concert due to a COVID-19 outbreak. Also, in 2015, he canceled another show after he started showing symptoms of dehydration.
Hours before the concert on Thursday, Anthony looked excited to be in Panama alongside his girlfriend Nadia Ferreira as they shared clips of what they were up to. They also were seen dancing to Juan Luis Guerra in their car.
“Dancing to the beat of Juan Luis Guerra as we gear up for tomorrow’s Panama concert,” captioned Anthony in his social media post on Wednesday.
