Blake Lively walked the red carpet at the Met Gala 2022 dressed to impress with her custom Versace gown transforming. For the ‘Gilded Glamour’ theme inspired by the “In America: An Anthology Of Fashion” exhibit, Blake wore a form-fitting, strapless gown, covered in an intricate beaded design.
Her outfit was on point, reflecting the sartorial trends of the Gilded Age, as she walked with her husband Ryan Reynolds for the year’s biggest night in fashion.

As the 34-year-old made her way down the carpet, her look changed as she unveiled different layers of her gown. Her look was complete with a massive copper bow, which wrapped around her midsection. When she undid the bow, a new train of light blue fabric flowed. The change from copper to greenish-blue was an ode to the Statue of Liberty.

The Met Gala is also an annual fundraiser that raises eight-figure sums for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. The evening will be hosted by Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Regina King, and they’ll be joined by honorary co-chairs Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, and Instagram’s Adam Mosseri, along with some of the world’s biggest stars.
