After former US President Barack Obama announced the demise of ‘Bo’, the former first family’s pet, Michelle Obama released a statement on Twitter remembering the Portuguese water dog.

The former first lady announced that Bo succumbed to a long “battle with cancer”. She went on to share and remember the happy moments the family shared with the dog, including the times Bo wagged his tail out of joy when anyone from the former first family came home, how excited he was every time he was aboard Air Force One and how “no one was happier than Bo” when everyone was forced to stay home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
