Former Vice President Mike Pence has officially entered the 2024 Presidential race after filing the required paperwork on Monday, according to Federal Election Commission.

He is expected to launch his bid for the GOP nomination on Wednesday through a campaign video and a speech. With his announcement, he will be formally going up against former President Donald Trump, a man he served in the White House for four years from 2017-21. It is still to be seen if Trump comes out victorious in the primaries as he is polling well ahead of his competition.
