Officials report that three students and three members of staff were fatally shot at a private school in Nashville, Tennessee.

An elementary through sixth-grade Christian school called the Covenant School is where the incident took place on Monday morning.

Following the tragedy at Covenant School in Nashville, a spectator recorded the students being led away by police in an astounding video that is currently making the rounds on social media. Watch it here:

Many users on Twitter responded to the video, with a user saying. “These poor little babies. Another heartbreaking tragedy. How long until we hear the inevitable “Previously known to law enforcement’ line? RIP little angels. What a gut punch. Pray for these families.”

Another said, “Tennessee lawmakers are worried with drag queen laws and could care less about sensible gun reform. Which one is more dangerous? Ask the families in Nashville if you want to hear the answer.”

A Twitterati also expressed her frustration with the government body by saying, “Democratic state Rep. Bob Freeman, whose district includes The Covenant School, called Monday’s shooting an “unimaginable tragedy.” Huh? This happens every day in America…”

On a similar note, a user commented, “As a mother and a teacher, I hope this haunts the dreams of every legislator who continues to vote “No” on common sense gun control.”

Officials said the shooter, a 28-year-old Nashville woman, was killed after she returned fire with officers. Authorities shot her in a lobby on the second floor of the institution. Her identity and purpose are still unknown.

According to the police, the accused had a handgun, at least two assault-style rifles, and other weapons. She allegedly entered the school through a side door and moved through the building, firing bullets as she went from the first floor to the second.

According to authorities, no one who was shot survived.
